The desire is to create work in-situ; to produce work in relation to the place/environment in which I find myself.  The paintings and installations do not attempt to represent the surroundings, but the materials chosen and the resulting work is in direct response to them. In this way the form evolves to suit the space whilst the content is a development of the themes that I am working on constantly.
